Un sourire sincère

Négombo (Sri Lanka) – Ce portrait a été pris sur un petit marché de Négombo. J’ai aperçu cette femme qui discutait avec plusieurs femmes de sa connaissances avec ce fond jaune du plus bel effet. Quand j’ai voulu faire la photo, la dame était de profile et n’avait pas remarqué ma présence. Comme j’étais assez près, il y avait de très grandes chances que je sois repéré. Sans doute prévenue par ses amies, elle s’est retournée vers moi et m’a gratifié d’un large sourire.

Negombo (Sri Lanka) – This portrait was taken in a small market in Negombo. I saw this woman chatting with several women about her acquaintance with this beautiful yellow background. When I wanted to take the picture, the lady was in profile and hadn’t noticed my presence. As I was quite close, there was a very good chance that I would be spotted. No doubt warned by her friends, she turned to me and gave me a big smile.
