Un petit marché à Négombo

Négombo (Sri Lanka) – Je suis arrivé le matin à Négombo en provenance de Paris. Le temps de trouver un hôtel donnant sur la plage et je suis déjà dans la rue pour avoir mes toutes premières impressions de ce pays où je viens pour la première fois.
Après avoir hélé un tuk-tuk pour qu’il m’emmène sur un marché je me retrouve sur ce lieu animé. Le premier contact est bon. Les gens sourient quand je les photographie. Je suis convaincu que le voyage va bien se passer. Après avoir fait quelques portraits posés, je commence à rechercher des scènes plus spontanées.

Negombo market

Négombo (Sri Lanka) – I arrived in Négombo in the morning from Paris. The time to find a hotel overlooking the beach and I am already in the street to get my very first impressions of this country where I am coming for the first time.
After hailing a tuk-tuk to take me to a market, I find myself in this busy place. The first contact is good. People smile when I photograph them. I have no doubts that the trip will go well. After doing a few posed portraits, I start to look for more spontaneous scenes.
