Feast of Our Lady of Velankanni, Sri Kathiresan Street, Kochchikade, Colombo. This feast is a South Indian version of the Nativity of Mary, celebrated by Roman Catholics in the week of the 8th of September, the date believed to be the birthday of Mary, the mother of Jesus.
