Henscell of Germany built this classic Sri Lankan M6 locomotive number 791. She is seen entering Nanu Oya station amidst a fine selection of semaphore signals with the 1100 Badulla to Kandy. The 1100 train is a mixed goods / passenger working.
Nanu is a town on the mountain railway line. The line has many many semaphores along its route.
