This aircraft was put on display as an exhibit in the Deyata Kirula 2012 exhibition by the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka with a livery of their own and with the registration 4R-CAA. This event was held in Oyamaduwa, Anuradhapura.

Image was taken back in 2013 in the same town which the event took place the previous year. The aircraft was kept here for some time until it was moved to a children’s park close Anuradhapura Airport.

This aircraft was formerly operated by the now defunct private Sri Lankan airline called Lionair bearing registration UN-46644. This aircraft was brought to Sri Lanka from Kazakhstan in the mid to late 1990s. The airline ceased operations in 2006.
