Lines in a King Coconut Palm Leaf

A King coconut palm leaf – or should I say “frond” – offers interesting lines that run in different directions and yet it has a captivating simplicity and order. This impression is reinforced by the perfect light that leaves the right half of the frond in darkness. And because it is a bit drier and hotter in the south of Sri Lanka in March, this frond turned yellow, which adds colour to the picture.
