Coconut on the Beach (Sri Lanka)

We are back home in Tangalle, Sri Lanka, since Saturday. Today Monday, I visited “our” beach for the first time since 17 months. It was touching! Nobody is on this big beach. The 5 or 6 resorts are abandoned and empty. No tourists. It is a shame that no one enjoys this beautiful beach. Maybe people only want to go to luxury hotels, where all the hassle is taken away from them and they don’t have to come into contact with locals and their culture.
