Karawila Maaluwa | Cooking with Aunty D

Ingredients:

Karawila 350 g
Tomato 2 big
Onion 1 medium
Green chilli 3
Rampe
Curry leaves
Garlic 5 cloves
Fenugreek ½ tsp
Turmeric ½ tsp
Curry powder 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Chilli powder 1 tsp
Sugar ½ tsp
Goraka 4 cloves
Maggi Organic Coconut Milk 1 ½ cups
Oil 1 tbsp
Garlic 2 cloves
Mustard seeds ½ tsp
Onion 1 small
Maldive fish

 

Method:

Add chopped Karawila to a pot

Then proceed to add tomato, big onion, green and red chilli, curry leaves, rampe, garlic, fenugreek, turmeric, curry powder, salt, chilli powder, sugar and goraka.

Add in Maggi Organic Coconut Milk into the mixture.

Mix the ingredients well until the mixture comes to a boil.

Seal the pot and let the mixture simmer.

In a separate pot, add the oil, garlic, mustard seeds, big onions, curry leaves, rampe and Maldive fish.

Stir until cooked.

Transfer the previous contents to the pot and mix well.

Finally, add the Karawila Maaluwa mix into a bowl and serve!
