Statement from Taj Samudra, Colombo

Taj Samudra Colombo today (13) announced that four of its employees tested positive for COVID-19.

The full statement as follows:

The safety and wellbeing of our guests and associates remain the highest priority for us.

Four employees at our hotel tested positive for COVID-19 today. All of them are asymptomatic and show no sign of illness.  As per the guidelines mandated by the government in monitoring  for the virus, we have taken all necessary steps and the employees are staying in isolation.

Taj Samudra Colombo has been recently certified as ‘ Safe and Secure’ hotel further to the SLTDA audit conducted by KPMG.

We are continuously monitoring this situation and will work closely with the district health authorities to mitigate any further risk. We wish our associates a very speedy recovery.
