LUKOIL Sri Lanka enters as Official Lubricant Partner for Sri Lanka Super Series 2023 by SLARDAR 

Russia’s No.1 brand – LUKOIL announced their partnership with SLARDAR as the “Official Lubricant Partner” for Sri Lanka Super Series 2023 which is scheduled to be held at the newly built “Mahaweruwa Racing Arena by SLARDAR” in Giriullaand other racing circuits.

LUKOIL Sri Lanka will sponsor and participate with all the race events conducted by SLARDAR under Sri Lanka Super Series2023.

As new entrant in the lubricant industry as an original lubricant, LUKOIL Sri Lanka has come forward as a partner in the field of racing sports (Motor Racing or Motor Sports) inSri Lanka. LUKOIL commenced the campaign with the participation with LUKOIL Genesis – the high end Fully Synthetic Product range as the official lubricant partner for the exhilarating first ever – Single Tree Hill Climb in NuwaraEliya which was held on 10th & 11th April. The Hill Climb is the highest elevation race meet in Sri Lanka and locatedat an elevation of 6,199 feet above sea level.

LUKOIL as one of the technologically advanced lubricants from Russia have powered the engines of some of the fastest cars on the track and showed the power to make a difference.

Auto Miraj Grand 1 will be collaborating with LUKOIL Sri Lanka on this partnership with SLARDAR and will be associated with the “Mahaweruwa Racing Arena by SLARDAR” in Giriulla for next 5 years bringing the best of motor racing with a difference.

The Sri Lanka Association of Racing Drivers & Riders (SLARDAR), the premier Motor Racing Club in Sri Lanka for the last forty years and Asian Motor Racing Club (AMRC), launched the ‘Sri Lanka Super Series 2023’ after a 3-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This year, SLARDAR decided to take steps to gradually restart their racing events to reignite the sport in the country. In collaboration with the Asian Motor Racing Club (AMRC), SLARDAR launched the first ‘Sri Lanka Super Series’ back in 2017. This championship is unique as it is the only event to award the champions with brand new cars and motorcycles. 

SLARDAR was the introducer of Supercross gravel track racing in Sri Lanka and is the architect of almost all the majorthe Supercross gravel tracks in the country, including Fox Hill Super Cross, Gajaba SC, Gunners SC, Sigiriya Rally Cross, Commando Super Cross, and Colombo Super Cross.

SLARDAR with the support of their partners are set to develop the ‘Mahameruwa Racing Arena by SLARDAR’. The arena will be suitable for both cars and motorcycles and will feature a range of facilities including a restaurant area, swimming pool, training & briefing rooms, accommodation for over 100 people, ATV track, 4×4 track, out bound training facility and more. 

The arena will also serve as a testing ground for racing cars and motorcycles, and as a driver and rider training facility as well. Trusting the credibility of SLARDAR, LUKOIL Sri Lanka has stepped forward as the Official Lubricant Partner for the facility along with Auto Miraj Grand 1 at the ‘Mahameruwa Racing Arena by SLARDAR’ located in Nalla, Giriulla, in the Northwestern Province.
