Christell Luxury Wellness Successfully Conclude E-Waste Collection Drive, Promoting Environmental Sustainability

In a remarkable display of commitment to environmental sustainability, Christell Luxury Wellness, in collaboration with Green Links Lanka (PVT) Ltd, has successfully concluded a community-wide E-waste collection drive. This Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative aimed to encourage responsible disposal of electronic waste and raise awareness about the importance of proper e-waste management in Sri Lanka.

Electronic waste, or e-waste, poses a significant threat to our environment due to the presence of hazardous materials. Recognizing this issue, Christell Foundation partnered with Green Links Lanka, an authorized company licensed by the Central Environmental Authority, to tackle the growing problem of e-waste in the country.

The E-waste collection drive provided residents and businesses with a convenient and eco-friendly way to dispose of their old laptops, TVs, monitors, mobile phones, printers, appliances, and other electronic devices. By participating in the drive, the community actively contributed to a cleaner and healthier environment.

The success of the E-waste collection drive can be attributed to the collaborative efforts of the Christell Foundation and Green Links Lanka teams. Their dedication and expertise ensured that the electronic waste was handled properly and disposed of in accordance with environmental regulations.
