Allianz Lanka Celebrates Star Performers at Annual Awards 2021

Allianz Lanka Annual Awards Ceremony 2021 was hosted virtually on the 10th of December, recognizing and rewarding its star employees for the year.

The ceremony is a highly anticipated sales event that is held annually, typically with the participation of the company’s leadership and foreign dignitaries from the Allianz Asia Pacific Region. This year, due to the constantly evolving COVID situation across the world, the Awards were hosted as a virtual event, ensuring participants were practicing safe, and socially distanced behaviours. The virtual ceremony also reflects Allianz’s digital prowess and adaptability as a company, and their commitment towards celebrating their star performers regardless of the challenges, connecting employees across the country in a night of good cheer and celebration.

During the ceremony, 71 Top Sales Performers from Allianz Insurance Lanka Ltd and Allianz Life Insurance Lanka Ltd were felicitated.  They were further rewarded with exciting prizes to appreciate and encourage them to continue their hard work in taking Allianz to greater heights.

Speaking at the ceremony, CEO of Allianz Insurance Lanka Ltd Gany Subramaniam stated, “It is with immense gratitude that we award these individuals today for their hard work and dedication over the past year. 2021 has not been easy for many of us, but despite the challenges, these individuals have excelled in their capacities, ensuring Allianz reaffirmed its place as one of Sri Lanka’s leading insurance providers. I would like to convey a hearty congratulations to all those who were awarded today. I look forward to seeing each of you excel in the future as well.”

Further elaborating the sentiments of the upper management, CEO of Allianz Life Insurance Lanka Ltd, Jayalal Hewawasam states, “Over this past year, our sales force has had to transform, adapt, and reshape the way we work. Looking back on all the great things we have achieved in 2021, I would like to congratulate each member of the Allianz team for efficiently and successfully rising up to this challenge, and excelling in each of their capacities.
