IndiGo to start direct air link between Hyderabad and Colombo

IndiGo is set to introduce direct flights between Hyderabad and Colombo, Sri Lanka, commencing on November 2, 2023. This milestone marks the first time an Indian carrier has offered this direct flight option, underscoring IndiGo’s commitment to strengthening trade, economic, and cultural ties.

The move aligns with IndiGo’s strategic expansion into international markets, emphasising seamless and efficient connectivity for its customers. Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, expressed excitement, stating, “As the travel landscape experiences remarkable growth, our focus remains on delivering exceptional services and meeting the evolving needs of our customers.”
