Serà Cashew Curry | Cooking with Aunty D

You have to be nuts not to like cashews!

Here’s how you can make a creamy and nutty cashew curry with Serà to add a little Sri Lankan flavour to this festive season.

Ingredients:

Cashew 250 g

Serà Turmeric Powder 3/4 tsp

Oil 1 tbsp

Onion 1 small

Curry Leaves + Rampe

Fenugreek 1/4 tsp

Garlic Cloves 3 nos

Serà Curry Powder 1 tsp

Serà Chilli Powder 1/2 tsp

Serà Coconut Milk 1 cup

Water 1/2 cup

Serà Salt 1 tsp

 

Method:

Start by boiling cashews in a pot of water with Serà turmeric powder.

Heat up a separate pot with oil, chopped onion, curry leaves, rampe, fenugreek and garlic and give it a stir.

Add Serà turmeric powder, Serà curry powder, Serà chilli powder, Serà coconut milk, water, Serà salt and the boiled cashews, and mix well.

Finally let it simmer for some time and your warm and creamy Serà Cashew Curry is ready for grabs!
