Definitely, a go-to spot for most when it comes to authentic Italian pizza, and rightly so. Although providing only their signature pizzas on the menu, they’ve added pasta and gnocchi options as well, which hold their own. Initially situated in one cramped up building, they’ve slowly expanded over time and have now added a backyard seating space which is almost a replica of a homey Italian trattoria.
They are also famous for their BYOB option rendering it a great date-night spot with an intimate ambience.

Rocco’s
Rocco’s is a cozy little pizzeria tucked down Nawala Road. They serve authentic wood-fired pizzas and have been operating for some time. The cute little interior of the cafe sings dark yellow and red tones. They’ve got wooden bar-stools and red brick walls to amplify the Italian hole-in-the-wall pizzeria aesthetic they’ve got going on. They’ve got a variety of pizza toppings. From all kinds of meat to cheese and even out-of-the-box toppings like duck in hoisin sauce.

Arthur’s Pizzeria has been around for a while now and is a favourite abode amongst many because of the great vibes and good food that seems to follow it. With its main branch in Mount Lavinia, Arthur’s also has a Pizza Express branch in Havelock. The Mount branch is conveniently located next to Lion Pub and serves up a few great cocktails and of course, the main event is the pizza and Arthur’s is known for their Nai Miris Pizza which is a test of bravery.

Harpo’s Pizza
Harpo’s Pizza and Pasta has been around since 2005, selling their pizzas initially at the Bayleaf restaurant. The brand started out as Colombo’s first homegrown authentic thin-crust wood-fired pizza maker. They’ve grown quite well over the years, and now have a menu consisting of numerous pizza toppings, pasta, juices and much more.
They are well known for their ‘Gigantic 19”’ pizza and the ‘Square 22”’ pizza, which are everyone’s absolute favourite.

Located in an old colonial house down Gregory’s Road, the restaurant is ideal for an intimate gathering or a group hangout. There is also a unique Retro Barn that is a cross between the typical bar and a lounge which makes great cocktails.
