Devilled Dried Fish | Cooking with Aunty D

We’d take rice and a simple curry with a side of dried fish any day!

Here’s Aunty D’s take on making some delicious and spicy Devilled Dried Fish at home.

 

Ingredients:

Dried Fish 250 g

Oil 1/2 tbsp

Garlic 4 cloves

Green Chilli 5 nos

Curry Leaves + Rampe

B. Onion 2 medium

Turmeric 1/2 tsp

Chilli Flakes 1 tbsp

Salt 1/4 tsp

Leeks 1/4 cup

Tomato 2 medium

 

Method:

Heat oil in a pan and fry the dried fish until golden brown.

To a separate pan, add oil, garlic cloves and green chillies, and fry.

Add curry leaves, rampe and big onion to the same pan and combine.

Next, add turmeric, chilli flakes and salt.

Finally, add the fried dried fish with leeks and tomatoes, and mix everything together.

Take the pan off heat, serve it with some rice and enjoy!
