Knead, season and roll your way to samosa perfection with Aunty D’s beef samosa recipe with a twist – Crescent Beef Meatball Samosa!

Here’s how you make it!

Ingredients:

Crescent Beef Meatballs

Oil 1 tbsp

Garlic 3 cloves

Ginger 1/4 inch

Big Onion 1 large

Curry Powder 1/2 tsp

Chilli Powder 1 tsp

Salt 1/2 tsp

Garam Masala 1/2 tsp

Green Chilli 2 nos

Carrot 1 medium

Green Onion 1/4 cup

Lime Juice 1/2 tsp

Samosa Sheets

Method:

To make the beef filling, first grind the Crescent beef meatballs.

Heat oil in a pan on medium heat and combine chopped garlic, ginger, diced onion, ground Crescent beef meatballs, curry powder, chilli powder, salt, garam masala, green chilli, and diced carrot in the pan.

Add green onion and lime juice to the mixture and mix until all the ingredients are well combined and take the pan off the heat.

To make the samosa, start by making a paste out of all-purpose flour and water to bind the samosa.

Take a samosa sheet and apply the flour paste on one end.

Fold the sheet into a triangle to create a pocket and fill the pocket with one tablespoon of the beef mixture.

Apply the flour paste to secure the ends of the wrapper.

Heat oil in a separate pan on medium heat and fry the samosas until they turn golden brown.

Pair this delicious snack with your favourite chutney/dip for an extra burst of flavour!
