Chicken Curry | Cooking with Aunty D


Chicken 450g

Chilli Powder 2 tbsp

Pepper 1/2 tsp

Turmeric 1/2 tsp

Curry Powder 1 tsp

Ginger 1 tbsp

Garlic 1 tbsp

Salt 1 1/2 tsp

Tamarind Juice 1 tbsp

Oil 1 tbsp

Fenugreek 1/2 tsp

Cumin 1/4 tsp

Sweet Cumin 1/4 tsp

Cinnamon 1/2 inch

Cardamom 3 pods

Clove 3 pods

Big Onion 1 medium

Curry Leaves


Green Chilli 2 nos

Coconut Milk

Kalu Kudu 1 1/2 tsp


Add chicken into a bowl followed by, chilli powder, pepper, turmeric, curry powder, ginger, garlic, salt, tamarind juice, mix well and let the chicken marinate for 20 mins.

Next, add oil into a pan followed by, fenugreek, cumin, sweet cumin, cinnamon, cardamoms, cloves, big onions, curry leaves, rampe, green chillis, marinated chicken and fry well.

Add coconut milk to cover the chicken, cook under medium heat and finally add kalu kudu.
