Sri Lankan Rupee Holds Steady Against US Dollar on February 9, 2024, Showing Stability in Commercial Banks

Compared to yesterday (08), today (09) the Sri Lankan Rupee remains stable against the US dollar in Sri Lankan commercial banks.

According to the People’s Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US dollar remained unchanged at Rs. 307.69 and Rs. was 318.41.

Commercial Bank’s buying rate per US dollar was Rs 307.99 to Rs 307.24 respectively.

Its sales ratio has also increased from Rs.318 to Rs.317.25.

Sampath Bank’s buying and selling rates have remained unchanged at 308 rupees and 317 rupees per US dollar.
