Stock of military equipment found in Weheragala Reservoir

On September 30, 2025, Army officers reported finding military equipment near Weheragala Reservoir, including 74 T-56 magazines and 35 LMG drums. The Kataragama Police are investigating, with the equipment handed to Gonaganara Police.
