Showers above 50mm expected in parts of the island today
Heavy showers (over 50mm) are forecast today in parts of Sri Lanka. The Department of Meteorology says intermittent showers will affect Uva Province and the Matale, Nuwara-Eliya, Ampara, and Batticaloa districts.
