Navy rescues over 300 people following Mavil Aru tank embankment breach
The Sri Lanka Navy has rescued over 300 individuals following the breach of the Mavil Aru tank embankment in Trincomalee, which resulted in significant flooding after heavy rainfall on November 30, 2025.
