Former State Minister Shasheendra Rajapaksa remains in remand until October 14, 2025, as ordered by the Colombo Magistrate’s Court. He was arrested on August 6, 2025, on corruption charges by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC).
