The Court of Appeal ordered the recall of the writ petition filed by the Chief Incumbent of Trincomalee Sri Sambuddha Jayanthi Bodhiraja Viharaya, which sought to prevent demolition of a portion of the Trinco Bodhiraja temple; the case is set for recall on April 28, 2026.
