Two individuals, a former Fisheries Department official and a staff member of ex-Deputy Minister Indika Bandaranayake, were arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption for allegedly soliciting a bribe in exchange for a job at the Ports Authority.
