Surgeries have resumed at Chilaw District General Hospital after emergency repairs funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in the wake of Cyclone Ditwah. The UNFPA-supported work restored essential surgical capacity that had been disrupted, enabling patients to receive care again.
