A Sri Lankan student in Singapore sold her bank account details, which were then exploited in a scam that funneled nearly S$18,000 (US$13,980), primarily from a fraudulent Singapore Armed Forces bulk order scheme. She has been sentenced to jail for her involvement in the scam.
