Sri Lanka launched its National Strategic Action Plan (2026–2030) to monitor and combat human trafficking on January 28 at Cinnamon Life Hotel in Colombo, with Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya in attendance. AdaDerana RSS reported the announcement on January 29, 2026.
