Showers or thundershowers are forecast for several districts and provinces across Sri Lanka after 2 p.m., including Western, Sabaragamuwa, North Western, Southern and Uva provinces, plus Anuradhapura, Mannar, Kandy and Nuwara-Eliya districts, according to the Department of Meteorology.
