The Supreme Court ruled that no formal determination is required on two bills, “Protection of Occupants” and “Rent Repeal,” which were challenged under Article 121.1 of the Constitution. Speaker Dr. Jagath Wickramaratne told Parliament today that the matter need not undergo a formal decision.
