President Anura Kumara Dissanayake officially presented the Sannas Pathra (letter of appointment) to the new Asgiri Anunayake Thero, Most Venerable Narampanawe Ananda Thero, at Magul Maduwa within the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic in Kandy. The event took place on October 3, 2025.
