A Police Sergeant has been suspended for allegedly having close contact with Nanda Kumar Thakshee, a female suspect detained for 90 days in connection with the murder of underworld figure Sanjeewa Kumara Samararatne, known as Ganemulla Sanjeewa, at the Aluthkade court complex.
