Sri Lanka Police say a new act designed to crack down on organized crime will be introduced within two weeks. Deputy Inspector General Chandana Kodituwakku of the Central Crime Investigation Bureau announced the legislation would include stringent provisions targeting organized criminals on March 31, 2026.
