The Colombo Magistrate’s Court has denied bail to Ainiya Pillai Mubarak, Chairman of the Kuchchaveli Pradeshiya Sabha and member of the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress, who was arrested on charges of accepting a Rs. 500,000 bribe.
