South Korea has joined forces with the UN Development Programme in Sri Lanka to address escalating waste management challenges. The collaboration provides USD 4.7 million for a new initiative aimed at improving waste handling, recycling, and governance, seeking to strengthen Sri Lanka’s sustainable waste management system.
