The Central Environmental Authority’s Director General has ordered Sri Lanka Cricket to immediately suspend the construction of the Jaffna International Cricket Stadium in Mandaitivu, Sri Lanka. The halt was issued in a written directive, according to AdaDerana on February 24, 2026.
