Three individuals were arrested by the Sri Lanka Navy in Mannar’s Nachchikuda beach area after a search operation uncovered 17 kg of turtle meat, 39 turtle eggs, and a dinghy. The seizure was reported by AdaDerana RSS on February 2, 2026.
