The Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) has officially honored a deceased pilot who died during a flood rescue mission in the Lunuwila area, Wennappuwa. The pilot’s heroism in aiding those affected by severe weather conditions has been recognized in a special statement from the SLAF.
