Class S14 is a diesel multiple-unit (DMU) train operated by Sri Lanka Railways. They were built by CRRC Qingdao Sifang in China, and entered service in Sri Lanka in 2019. Each S14 is equipped with MTU 12V 4000 R41 diesel engines, producing 1950 hp (1453 kW) of power. Their top speed can reach 120km/h. Each S14 class has two first-class air-conditioned cars (88 passengers), two second-class cars (96 passengers), three third-class cars (216 passengers) and one dining compartment. The trains feature passenger information system, LCD TV entertainment screens, and toilets designed for people with disabilities
