Dull-blue Flycatcher – Eumyias sordidus

Not an exciting name, but the Dull-blue Flycatcher is a must-see passerine for any birdwatcher visiting Sri Lanka. Also called the Dusky Blue Flycatcher, this bird is endemic to the island and largely confined to the highlands.

This photograph was taken in the cloud forest of Horton Plains National Park at an elevation of about 2000 m.
