Seeni Murukku | Cooking with Aunty D

Ingredients: 

Steamed All-Purpose Flour 2 cups

Salt 1/2 tsp

Turmeric Powder 1/4 tsp

Egg 1 nos

Sera Real Coconut Milk 1 pkt

Sera Coconut Oil (To fry)

Sugar 1 cup

Water 1/2 cup

Method:

Add steamed all-purpose flour into a bowl followed by, salt, turmeric powder, one egg, Sera real coconut milk and mix well into a paste.

Insert the murukku paste into a murukku maker mould and create the desired murukku shape onto a non-stick surface.

Add Sera coconut oil into a pan and slowly add in the murukku paste. Fry until fully cooked and remove from heat.

Next, add sugar and water into a pan and boil well together until the sugar is fully dissolved.

Finally, slowly pour the sugar-infused water over the fried murukku.
