Parippu Wade | Cooking with Aunty D

Are you stuck at home craving some street food bites? This recipe will have you frying up hot and fresh parippu wade in just 10 minutes.

Here’s how you make it!

Ingredients:

Parippu 1 cup

Green Chilli 3 nos

Curry Leaves

Chilli Flakes 1 tbsp

Salt 1 tsp

Cumin ¼ tsp

Onion 1 large

Method:

Start by soaking the parippu in water for 5 minutes.

Next, grind the soaked parippu until it reaches a dough-like texture.

Combine the ground parippu with thinly chopped green chilli, curry leaves, chilli flakes, onion and salt and pepper to taste.

Shape the dough to flat and round bite-sized shapes.

Finally, deep fry the wade evenly on both sides until it’s golden brown and crispy. Enjoy!
