SAVOURY TREATS

Cucumber Sandwich with Dill Butter (5/5)

This cucumber sandwich is all about freshness and simplicity. A crunchy delight with soft white bread and a luscious layer of creamy dill butter, it is light, not too salty, and just the thing for a breezy afternoon snack.

Smoked Whitefish Sandwich (5/5)

Talk about the one that has it all! Think soft brown bread hugging a mix of smoked whitefish, mayo, dill leaves, onions, pickled gherkins and capers. This sandwich is so soft and creamy with a blend of sweet, sour and savoury that one bite will have you hooked and ready to inhale the entire thing.

Coronation Chicken Sandwich (4/5)

Tender chicken pieces mixed with mayo, fresh dill, crunchy minced onions, capers, and tangy pickled gherkins make this sandwich delightful. It pairs faultlessly with the accompanying creamy fried egg.

Roasted Tomato and Cheese Tartlet with Thyme (5/5)

With a crumbly crust that has a salty and bitter edge and a filling that tastes like pure cheddar, this tartlet is a cheesy dream come true. The smallest bite fills your mouth with cheesy goodness, like enjoying a tiny Margherita in an elevated, more elegant form.

SCONES

Classic Sultana Scones with Homemade Strawberry Jam, Pineapple Cinnamon Jam and Homemade Clotted Cream (5/5)

These scones are crumbly, soft and packed with chewy, juicy raisins. Slather on some pineapple cinnamon jam for a zesty punch of sour and sweet, or go for the homemade clotted cream – thick, cheesy and utterly indulgent. But the real MVP? The chunky strawberry jam that’s so sweet, it’ll have you licking your fingers without a second thought.

DESSERTS

Lime Meringue Tartlet (5/5)

This tartlet starts delicately sweet with a layer of meringue and then hits you with a strong citrus punch that teases your taste buds. The creamy lime filling is made from a mix of egg yolk, sugar and lemon juice. With a buttery, crumbly crust and a garnish of sliced and dried lemon, this is one you won’t want to miss!

Dark Nut-Rich Chocolate Brownie (5/5)

This is not your average sweet treat! Thick, nutty and rich with chocolate, this brownie is surprisingly not too sweet – especially perfect for the ones who like their whiskey neat and their coffee black! It is topped with dark chocolate cream and a walnut for an additional crunch.

Traditional English Bakewell Tart (5/5)

With soft pastry, a cakey filling topped with flaked almonds, and a layer of delicious strawberry jam, this is a classic done right. The filling is mildly almond-flavoured, while the jam brings a smooth texture and prominent strawberry sweetness. Combined with the almonds on top, this is the kind of dessert that makes you feel all warm and cosy inside.

Lemongrass Panna Cotta (4/5)

Thick and milky, this panna cotta contrasts beautifully in texture with its other dessert companions. Ishq Colombo’s sugar work is amazing. The sweetness of the panna cotta is well-controlled and balanced with a light lemongrass flavour. The passion fruit seeds on top add a citrus-y hit.

Old-Fashioned Baked Cheesecake (5/5)

This cheesecake is a dream! With an incredibly soft biscuit crust and a mildly tangy sweetness, the filling is velvety and dense without being too heavy. Garnished with flowers from the garden, it’s almost too pretty to eat—almost!

DRINKS

Peppermint Tea (5/5)

Cool and fresh, this is one really good cup of tea! The chef insists it’s designed to rebalance your senses. Pro tip: save it for the end of your platter to let that minty goodness linger and avoid messing with the flavours of the other treats.

AMBIENCE

With lush, green “Garden of Eden” vibes and flowers freshly plucked by the chef to garnish your food, the villa’s spacious ambience is pure zen. The chefs and waiters are super friendly and helpful, making you feel the ‘Ishq’ (Arabic for ‘love’) in every bite and interaction.
