Butter Murukku | Cooking With Aunty D

Ingredients:

Rice Flour 2 cups

Gram Flour 1 cup

Cumin 2 tbsp

Butter 1/4 cup

Water 1/4 cup

Salt 1 tsp

 

Method:

  1. In a bowl pour some rice flour, gram flour, cumin seeds and melted butter.
  2. Next, add in salt and water.
  3. Proceed to mix all the ingredients together until it forms a thick dough.
  4. In a frying pan, using a murruku maker, squeeze the dough into the hot oil and let it fry until the dough becomes hard and is golden brown.
  5. Finally, remove the fried murukku from the frying pot and serve while hot.
