Beer Battered Chicken | Cooking with Aunty D

We’ve turned International Beer Day into a weekend, and it calls for something more than cracking open a cold one.

Make your boozy weekend a little more exciting, with Aunty D’s Crispy Beer Battered Chicken recipe! It’s quick, simple and deliciously addictive!

Ingredients:

Chicken 400 g

Garlic Powder 1 tsp

Pepper ¾ tsp

Salt 1 ¼ tsp

All-purpose Flour ½ cup

Corn flour ½ cup

Chilli Powder 1 tsp

Turmeric ¼ tsp

Beer ¾ cups

Method:

To a bowl, add the prepped chicken cuts, garlic powder, pepper and salt, mix and let it marinate for 30 minutes.

Combine all-purpose flour, corn flour, chilli powder, turmeric and beer in a separate bowl and whisk until it forms a smooth batter.

Dip the marinated chicken in the batter and fry them in oil until golden on all sides.

Serve while it’s hot!
