We’ve turned International Beer Day into a weekend, and it calls for something more than cracking open a cold one.
Make your boozy weekend a little more exciting, with Aunty D’s Crispy Beer Battered Chicken recipe! It’s quick, simple and deliciously addictive!
Ingredients:
Chicken 400 g
Garlic Powder 1 tsp
Pepper ¾ tsp
Salt 1 ¼ tsp
All-purpose Flour ½ cup
Corn flour ½ cup
Chilli Powder 1 tsp
Turmeric ¼ tsp
Beer ¾ cups
Method:
To a bowl, add the prepped chicken cuts, garlic powder, pepper and salt, mix and let it marinate for 30 minutes.
Combine all-purpose flour, corn flour, chilli powder, turmeric and beer in a separate bowl and whisk until it forms a smooth batter.
Dip the marinated chicken in the batter and fry them in oil until golden on all sides.
Serve while it’s hot!
