The Cabinet has decided to present the Batalanda Commission report in Parliament, Cabinet Spokesperson Nalinda Jayatissa announced during the weekly press briefing.
He was responding to journalists’ questions.
“We will take measures regarding all accusations, but there is a special focus on the Batalanda Commission report,” the spokesperson said when asked about human rights violations in northern and southern Sri Lanka. “The President has also given this special attention,” Jayatissa added.
